Beautification

The why: Let’s make our neighborhood shine, we are about creating a beautiful sustainable place where everyone feels good. By sprucing up our surroundings and connecting with our neighbors, we can build a stronger, more vibrant community.

1.      To execute monthly playground and surrounding block clean ups on the first Sunday of every month.

2.       To plan and execute quarterly neighborhood clean ups in targeted areas of Oak Grove.

3.      Partner with Southside ReLeaf, and nonprofits to enrich the Oak Grove Tree canopy, annually and as needed.

Impact: By the end of 2025-2026 Decrease Clean ups to quarterly (2 playground and 2 neighborhood).

Assessment: Visual component - looking at how long is needed between clean ups. (Is monthly already too much, do we need to transition to every other month).
